Tasteful Daim Cheesecake

Cheesecake is always a favorite in my family. Whereas, Daim chocolate is a must buy souvenir whenever my husband travels oversea (worst case, the children's favorite chocolate would be bought at airport's duty free shop). My children addiction to Daim chocolate goes back to 10 years ago when my husband made a frequent trip to Sweden. Since then, the whole family were addicted to Daim chocolate.

The combination of both favorites make this cheesecake a special ones for the family. If you are unable to get Daim chocolate, it can be substituted with other type of chocolate that has toffee filling. I would find Heath bar is the closest to Daim since I could not find Daim when I was in the US.

This recipe is a MUST TRY for cheesecake lover.
Crust :
150 gm digestive biscuits
70 gm butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling :
500 gm cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
20 pcs Daim chocolate - crushed to small pieces

Method:
1. Prepare crust and chill
2. Beat sugar and cream cheese
3. Add eggs and vanilla essence
4. Stir in daim chocolate

5. Pour onto prepared crust
6. Bake at 150C for 25 mins

Zaliana, shud be OK to substitute with Cadbury choc, but I'm aftraid that the chocolate would melt and blended together with cheese. Best is to use the one with toffee filling.
