I hailed from Johor where most of the state's early settlements came from neighboring country, Indonesia. Soto is one of the dish that originites from Indonesia but has been modified to suit local's taste. I grew up having soto as my favorite dish. Unfortunately, being picky me I could not find the one that suites my tastebud's best. I still wanted the one that have the memory of my childhood but could not find one from all that I have tasted in Klang Valley. Left with no choice, the best way is to do it myself. I would say, it has 90% of the original ones that I always have during my childhood years.
For your eyes' feast first. Recipe is coming soon.......

Pea, kalau ikut tekak jawa johor ni, soto lebih terasa ngan kacang tanah goreng, soon goreng dan hirisan tahu goreng. baru terangkat. itu yang aku ingat selain begedil...
Nim, aku nyer improvised version nak melayan selera anak tekak orang Melaka. Kira, part2 yg dia kureng tu aku kena omit ler
Kakrinn pun suka soto. Pernah buat dan ada dlm FP kakrinn. The best part is,..the sambal kicap. Kalau yg tu tak de..kureng kick lerrrr.....
la kau kat sini pulak pi.
kau buat le, jemput aku makan .
